Welcome to the Yakima Rock & Mineral Club

Our mission is to bring about a closer association of those interested in the earth sciences in all its many facets. To hold regular meetings and conduct field trips for collecting material to study and lapidary use to the benefit of the members and the public in general. To assemble and gather together, for exhibitions, suitable collections to show as public displays whenever desirable. To cooperate with similar clubs elsewhere.


You’re invited to join us for rockhounding adventures, educational presentations, shows, and fellowship.  Visitors are always welcome at meetings, benefits of membership include:

  • Lending library
  • Annual get-togethers and events throughout the year
