Nick Zentner – Central WA University and the PBS series “Nick On The Rocks,” (Where nationally recognized geologist Nick Zentner leads viewers on armchair adventures through Washington’s diverse landscapes). Science outreach and education coordinator for the Department of Geological Sciences at Central Washington University. 2015 recipient of the prestigious James Shea Award, a national award recognizing exceptional delivery of Earth Science content to the general public.
Pat McMahan – Lifelong rockhound, and collector of one of the most comprehensive collections of sagenite, plume, and banded agate in the world held in his “Muesum of Agates” in Arizona. Contributing author to “Rock and Gem Magazine: and the German magazine, “Mineralien Welt”, and was a contributing writer on the topic of agates with inclusions in Johann Zenz’s authoritative book, “Agates II”. Pat has finished a beautiful book which exhibits his finest agates. The North American Research Group (NARG) – Displaying “Bernie” the Reptile Sea Monster, with many other fossil specimens, fossil Identification, and their 3-D Printer.
The Rice Northwest Museum of Rocks and Minerals
The Rice Museum has agreed to display part of their rare Liberty Washington wire gold collection. The Liberty area has produced some of the largest and finest specimens of crystallized wire gold in the world. We are truly honored to be able to include their display in our 2018 show.
